What Could Cause Pieces Of Flesh To Hang Around Vaginal Opening?

Around my vaginal opening I have had 2 pieces of flesh hanging down ever since I lost my virginity, one bigger than the other. One is at the bottom and one is at the top. I have not had sex for nearly a year because of what people will think. How can I solve this? Is it normal?

Hi,

The things you describe to be hanging out of the vagina, after intercourse for the first time are the projections of vaginal mucus membrane. Distorted and grown after a tear of the hymen during sex. They don't need any treatment. Only good vaginal hygiene is to be maintained.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
