What Could Cause Poor Appetite Along With Fatigue And Weight Loss After Quitting Smoking?

Hi, I am a 35 year old male. I was a chronic alcohol consumer and smoker since my 20s. After 30s, I reduced alot and since past 6months I have quit smoking and drinking completely. But since couple of years, I am experiencing reduced hunger/appetite, too much tiredness during the day, weight loss. Please let me know what could be the issue

Hello,

Alcoholic fatty liver disease or pancreatitis or metabolic syndrome may cause this problem. Please get ultrasound abdomen and serum amylase levels. Also liver function tests, GGT level are useful. Weight reduction, regular exercise, eating green leafy vegetables may useful. If symptoms not improved, please consult your physician/gastroentrologist he will examine and treat you accordingly
