Hi Doctor, I recently got married and I m 33 yrs old - Female - I am TTC and consulted a doc - she has precribed me Oosure tablet - and also said that all my reports are clear... only prostrogen level is in the minor stage... what should i do? YYYY@YYYY
According to history the possible points that can help you are: - Oosure tablets contain Myo-inositol, which helps in improving ovarian function. - Progesterone is the hormone that plays main role in the second half of the menstrual cycle and also in pregnancy.
Once the ovarian function improves and ovulation occurs, you can go for progesterone supplements with your doctor's advice. If you are having problem with ovulation, you may need to take tablets for ovulation induction followed by progesterone supplementation.
Progesterone supplementation should be given till the placenta takes over the function of producing the hormones needed for maintenance of pregnancy. Sometimes throughout the pregnancy Progesterone supplementation may be needed. Natural micronised progesterone supplements are usually preferable.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
