What Could Cause Rectal Bleeding After Alcohol Intake In A 47-year-old Woman?
I am a 47 year old female who has rectal bleeding after or during a bowl movement and only after drinking alcohol . I have no pain associated with the bleeding . The blood is bright red . The bleeding started last December. This last time the bleeding has lasted longer for past 2 days .
I read carefully your query and understand your concern.
The symptoms seem to be related to hemorrhoids.
Usually alcohol can trigger the symptoms.
I suggest to do a colonoscopy to exclude other possible causes.
Meanwhile,I suggest using anti hemorrhoid cream for local application.
I recommend to avoid food and drink that can trigger the symptoms.
Hope my answer was helpful.
