What Could Cause Recurrent Heart Palpitations?

Hi, I have a reoccurring problem. Sometimes certain noise (music) or motion (riding inside a car) makes me feel like I am having a heart attack. My heart speeds up and beats really fast. So far, this only happens when I am either in an environment with loud music or in a moving car listening to music. When it happens, I would need to turn everything off to get total silence...and sometimes need to pull the car over. This started way back around 1980s after I gave birth to my daughter.
