What Could Cause Red Throat In A 4 Years Old Child?
Our 4 year old grand daughter did not want to eat her dinner. She fussed when eating a piece of pineapple. We had her open her mouth and checked; the back of her throat had very small red spots (quite a few) all over. Her throat was also red. What could be wrong?

she could have a viral or bacterial infection in her throat. she should see a dr and have a swab taken to see if this is a bacterial infection that would warrant antibiotic treatment.
