Hello,
Even if imaging appears normal, small or intermittent hernias may not be visible, especially if they reduce (go back in) during the scan. Get dynamic
ultrasound with straining (
Valsalva maneuver) done. It helps to detect hernias better than CT. Inflamed or enlarged lymph nodes in the groin can also present with such symptoms.
Pain from nearby organs like the testicle, prostate, bladder, or colon can refer to the groin. Such pain may also occur after infection, injury, or even shaving/skin irritation.
Constipation, IBS,
prostatitis, or testicular issues can all radiate pain. Nerve Entrapment (Inguinal Neuralgia) can cause such pain due to Ilioinguinal, genitofemoral, or iliohypogastric nerve.
Get clinically examined by a
Urologist, get all required blood tests and imaging tests done to detect the cause so that treatment can be started at the earliest.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
