What Could Cause Severe Cough With Mucus And Pain In Naval Area While Pressing Bellybutton?
I'm coughing a lot. It's a very mucus-based cough and it's been keeping me up all night. I'm now feeling pain in my naval area, and when I stick a finger in my bellybutton, I feel pain. Is this cause for alarm? I recently took Vicks Nature Fusion with Honey for my cough.

I really appreciate your concern as you have described the cough condition so from this I could say that this could be allergic cough, and while coughing the rectus muscle comes in action and because rectus muscle forceful contraction one can cough forcefully due to this frequent action muscle gets soar, no need to take any medicine right now honey is the best option if this does not subside within the couple of weeks then this need to be investigated, take care and have nice day.
