What Could Cause Severe Headache, Nausea And Diarrhea?

I get severe headaches that last 24 hours. This time I had pain the two evenings before and then a 24 hour one. The pain is on one side, above the eye, under the eyebrow. Light and sound sensitivity. Nausea and diahrea. Still tender in the area the pain radiated from. i have had migraines but am trying to figure out why they last so long and if they are migraines or something else. Can you help me?

Hello,

Diarrhea is not a common symptom of migraines.

In the other hand, an infection, such as gastrointestinal tract infection, may trigger and exacerbate migraines, so, my opinion is that your symptoms were related to migraine.

If these unusual headaches reappear, imaging studies (MRI of the brain) are necessary for a correct understanding of your condition.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
