What Could Cause Severe Lower Back Pain ( Pain Killers Not Working) After IVF Cycle And Egg Pick Up?

I had IVF Cycle and egg pick up last November and since then severe lower back pain has sent me to hospital, strong pain killers not working i.e. panadene forte and even Morphine IV in hospital. This generally lasts for 12 hours around ovulation and period. Now getting more frequent. I am 40 years old and had endometriosis previously. Do you know what this might be and how to fix it as it is very debilitating? Thanks

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi,
Thanks for the query.
Some amount of backache can be seen during ovulation.
The possible causes for your severe pain are :
-Because of the position while taking the ovum
-Pelvic inflammation
-General bone mineral reduction

As pain is not getting relieved with analgesics, once go for physiotherapy.
In case of presence of pelvic infection, you may need one course of antibiotics.
Take calcium supplementation to strengthen the bones.
Take care.
