What Could Cause Sharp Pain In The Left Breast And Blurred Vision In The Left Eye?

I woke up with a sharp pain under my left ?breast - sort of maybe the top of my ribs?? I don t remember doing anything but could there be anything serious? The pain has not gone away and hurts when I move. Also, I woke up from a nap and my left eye was very blurry - changed contact and it still took quite awhile to clear up - and is mostly clear now ??/ Coincidence I hope - but your thought?

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

The pain seems muscular skeletal. Take Acetaminophen to see if it can help together with magnesium (non more than 400 mg). Plus, should monitor your blood pressure, record the result for reference.

The blurred vision associated with sharp pain in left breast could be due to nerve compression that initially gave the pain followed by compressing the nearby nerves that travel to the eyes.

If still no improvement, and if you'll have breathing difficulties, should go to ER.

Hope my answer was helpful. If you have further queries feel free to contact me again.

Wishing you a fast recovery.

Regards,
Dr. Albana Sejdini, General & Family Physician
