Hello!

My name is Dr. Aida and I am glad to attend you on Healthcaremagic!

I would like to directly review his lumbar column MRI study, if he has performed it. A nerve conduction study is also necessary to examine his nerves.
Physiotherapy can help improve his situation. Gabapentine or Pregabaline can help against the pain.
If there is evidence of spinal canal stenosis in his MRI report, it would be necessary consulting with a spinal surgeon on possible surgery (after a careful evaluation of his heart problems too).
You should discuss with his doctor on these treatment options.
Hope you will find this answer helpful!
Best wishes!
