What Could Cause Sticky Liquid Discharge From The Breasts?

Hi there I m a 24 year old female and am not pregnant but have been having leakage from one of my breasts from one duct the other breast has not been affected. I squizzed it and clear sticky liquid came out I have not touched or squizzed my breast in over 6 weeks to hope it would stop and not irritate it but tonight the breast was so swollen and sore I pushed gently on it and large amounts of leakage came out like at least a full half cup and it relieved the pain but obviously this is not normal as I am not pregnant and most of the time do not wear bras so I know I have not been irritating the breast. Any ideas what this could be?

Hi,

You are having a discharge of fluid from the breast to a significant amount. Your breast is also swollen, so you have to rule out infective etiology of breast tissue. I suggest you consult surgeon for physical examination of breast and ultrasonography investigation for further work up.

Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
