What Could Cause Sudden Onset Of Dense Foggy Vision That Improved After Using Some Tear Drops?

Awoke this morning and had a fog/film on my right eye. Checked eye in mirror and nothing on eye ball. Fog became more dense and asked my daughter to see of anything was on my eye. She said no. Fog kept getting denser until I only saw light and blurred shapes. Put "Blink" tears drops in eye, many drops.. Finally got better but not completely gone. Eye is very red. Not uncomfortable but feels as if something is on eye.

Ophthalmologist 's  Response
Hello
It seems from the history that you are having sudden onset of foggy vision which improved after using tear eye drops.
This indicates that the diminution of vision is because of dry eyes.
This requires evaluation by ophthalmologist to note the severity of the disease.
The treatment is mainly by using artificial tear eye drops.
Hence I advice you to consult your eye doctor for examination and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
