What Could Cause Sudden Onset Of Loose Motions In A Toddler?

Hi,I am smita. My 16 month is suddenly having loose motion. He pooped fine half an hour ago but did lose motion now. He vomited last night which I guess was due to gas cause he eat breakfast at 11 and didn t eat anything till 6 no matter how much I tried. He vomited a little on breakfast too but was ok and finished his breakfast. He is active and fine till now. Should I be worried. Didn t give him any medicines but giving him plenty of water to drink

Hi Dear
Welcome to the HCM.
Please take care of the hydration. Give him plenty of water,dal rice water etc in sips.
Some antiemetic medicine can be tried like ondensetron so that the vomiting are stopped and he may be able to take ORS sips.
Loose motions are continued till the infection is cleared off from the body.
