What Could Cause Sudden Reduction Of Libido After Crossing 40 Long After A Partial Hysterectomy?
Hi I m a 41 yr old female, at the age of 22 or 23 yrs old I had to have a partial hystorectomy. I was in a serious car accident Dec. 22, 2017 with multiple serious injuries as well. For the last few weeks maybe months my husband says It seems as if I m pulling away from him & not just mentally but more like sexually... Im wondering if u might b able to help me figure out what my bodies going thru & more along the lines of what s caused my sex drive to plume downhill like it has.

After listening to your story it seems that your current situation has nothing to do with your accident history, as you had a partial hysterectomy done, your hormone levels are not affected. Regarding your sexual drive, it seems that getting old usually leads to decreased sexual desire.
It affects women more than men as in women they attain menopause normally at the age of 50. Yet, in some, they may have it much earlier may be 10 to 5 years ahead of the usual time frame. There is no specific treatment needed until it affects your daily life not easy to get on. If it’s tough for you to handle you may have a consultation with a gynecologist for expert opinion and treatment.
