What Could Cause Sudden Vomiting In Diabetic People?

Iwoke up this morning and felt like i needed to throw up.i tried to get out of bed and coulnt stand the room was spinning,i crawled to the comode and threw up.and did this 3 more times before i finnaly stopped,Im 55 and a deabetic,i checked my sugar and it was 228,i now feel some better but do u think ive picked up a bug or something else?

The vomiting may be a result of an infection (gastroenteritis). This is a common cause.

Infections would cause an increase in your blood sugar readings as well.

You need to be careful to avoid dehydration. You should consider getting oral rehydration products from your local pharmacy. These would replace both your fluids and an your electrolytes.
Drink a small amount at a time, if you use a lot, then vomiting can occur.
