What Could Cause Swelling And Pain In The Right Elbow In A 45-year-old?

My 45 year old, athletic, husband has a swollen and painful right elbow (tendon) and tendons , in both feet are swollen and red and both Achilles. This happens about every 4 to 6 months. He does not have Gout, diabetes, or rheumatoid arthritis. Do you know what it might be?

If it is not gout then one possibility is that he could have Ankylosing spondylitis. Get his hla-b27 done and send me the report.
