What Could Cause Swollen And Tender Inner Vaginal Lips?
My vagina has been feeling a little off lately after I had saxual intercourse with my boyfriend, however it was just a little red on the insidemore than usual(dark red), but still normal.. however I just took a shower a little while ago and my inner vagina lips are burning and tender and swollen. Even just the water dripping down my body made it hurt. What is going on?
- Maintaining abstinence for a few days till the symptoms subside.
- Using local analgesic and anti-inflammatory creams.
- If symptoms persist or increase better to get examined once to rule out the possibility of infection.
In case of infection, using local and systemic antibiotics can help. Both the partners should be treated simultaneously to prevent future cross infections.
