What Could Cause Swollen Belly?
before my laparatomy i had a perfectly flat stomach. it is 19 days after the surgery and my belly looks swollen and very fat. is this swelling going to go away and my stomach will be flat again? or is there always going to be this ugly overhang looking thing?

Appreciate your query, it could be distended abdomen but it may not be due to the operation you had gone through, abdomen distension most of the time is due to formation of flatulence obesity else it is nothing to do with the surgery or the procedure you gone through.
Try to reduce the calorie in diet have light diet avoid greasy food, drink more water do some aerobic exercise.
