What Could Cause Tingling In Shoulder Muscle With Weak Fingers?

ok my husband is having pain maybe a tingle pain in his left shoulder muscle and his hand fingers are very weak. i told him to do like squeeze a ball to help. also we got a cloth hanger that you hang pants on that has the close and open clothes pins and he can open one with the right hand but he can barely open the clothes pin with the left. today his hand is still weak on the left and this is going on now for three to four days. he no longer smoles but he does not excercise however he looks fit since he is slim and tall. but his diet is african food and they use a red oil that made from palm and i think that oil is maybe more cholestrol han the regular. after reading web md i am thinking that it is a sign of maybe heart attack...am i correct

The described symptoms are suggestive of common pinched nerve at neck (cervical spine) and not of heart.MRI is the investigation of choice.
I would like to treat him by drug pregablin along with the vitamin B12.Get it prescribed by your doctor.
