Hi,I am Dr. Shanthi.E (General & Family Physician). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
What Could Cause Tremors In The Left Hand, Increased Heart Rate, Difficulty In Swallowing And Head Pressure In A 22-year-old With A History Of Childhood Seizures?
Male. Age 22. History of childhood seizures. None for ten years. Clear EEG at that time. Current Symptoms: Left hand tremors, feeling of losing coordination in left arm, Heart Rate increase, sensation of trouble swallowing, pressure in head. Lasted for about half an hour. Had milder symptoms like these at night over the past year from time to time.
You may need to do thyroid function test and another EEG with MRI of the vertebral spines. I do believe you suffer from a neuropathy which must be followed by a neurologist.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
Regards,
Dr Salah Saad Shoman, Internal Medicine Specialist
