What Could Cause Unusual Lack Of Focus In One Eye Of A 14-year-old?

My 14 year old s right eye became suddenly lazy last Sunday(5 days back). I have been covering the so called good eye, which instantly brings his right eye back into focus, for the past 4 days but so far it hasn t fully recovered. Trawled the internet to no avail, please give any advice on this that may be prescient? XXXX

Hi,

If the eyes are moving during cover test then the child is having non-paralytic strabismus. You can consult the ophthalmic surgeon for complete evaluation.
