What Could Cause Vomiting, Fever And Chronic Cold In A Toddler?
3.5 y/o toddler came home feeling fine. Teacher said she threw up after lunch. She was eating dinner and complained about being cold. I checked her temp - 102,1. I gave her ibuprofen (7.5ml) and she ate two more bites and threw up again. She has been having allergy symptoms like coughing, sneezing, and running nose for a couple of weeks. We live in Ga.
Hi, Thank you for asking question on health care magic. Your history suggests that your daughter is suffering from upper respiratory tract infection. If you feed the baby when she is having high fever usually she vomits, Give tepid sponging to control fever and I prefer paracetamol to control fever. Still the vomiting continues you add an antiemetic like domperidone.
