What Could Cause Waxy, Pale, Foul Smelling And Frequent Stools?

My grandmother is 87 now. Of late her general health has come down with occassional electrolyte imbalance etc. The current concern is for past 1-2 weeks it is noticed that her stool is pale waxy and really fowl smelling. What could be the reason and possible management.
Also would like to inform you that she passes motion very frequently. Say once in 1-2 hrs.

I really appreciate your concern, if this is the dehydration due to water stool and electrolyte imbalance being confirmed by test then it requires the electrolyte I/V fluid case can be managed with oral rehydration therapy but most important is to know the underlying cause of diarrhea it could be due to infection, hope this information helps.
