What Could Cause Wide Blood Clot In Mouth With Dizziness, Sinus And Ear Problems?
Hi. I woke up this morning and had a blood clot about the width of half my palm, in my mouth. I m really concerned about what could cause this. I ve also been experiencing dizzy spells, sinus and ear problems as well. I don t have health insurance to go get checked out.
Thanks for your query. I have gone through your query. The common cause for bleeding from mouth(clot) can be because of any cut in the oral cavity secondary to trauma. The other possible causes can be systemic disease like bleeding disorders, hypertension or drugs like aspirin or warfarin can induce bleeding from mouth. Abnormal blood vessels or cancers in the oral cavity are rare causes of bleeding from mouth. The dizziness can be secondary to general weakness or anemia. So consult an oral physician and a general physician and get it evaluated. Do not neglect thinking about your insurance, consult the physician immediately. Get your complete blood investigations done. Once the diagnosis is confirmed, we can treat accordingly. I hope i have answered your query. Take care.
