I am having chills and can t get warm unless I go to bed and warm up. I have no fever hardly any appetite and I have been under a lot of stress. I am diabetic and have been having higher blood sugars. These chills have been going on for at least two months.
Chills in diabetes might happen in both low and high blood sugars.
But the common cause associated is autonomic and peripheral neuropathy. it might cause sudden onset of chills.
Secondly sudden swinging of sugars from low blood sugars to high might cause chills and other vague symptoms in our body.. We call it brittle diabetes.
So you need to visit your diabetologist and get evaluated properly because it is very difficult to control brittle diabetes.
Thanks
