What Could Constant Itchy Hands With White Spots Suggest?

I get itchy hands a lot, I haven t changed anything. But I scratch them and the get these large white spots that remind me of a bug bite, and then they swell, after the itch issue gone the area gets really sore to the touch. And the next day it is gone. But this is unbearable while it is going on. What could this be?

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hi,

It seems that you suffer from lichen urticatus. It is also called papular urticaria. It may be the hypersensitive reaction to insects like bedbug, flea or mosquito.

There may be severe itchy papulovesicular eruptions. They might heal and relase.
You consult dermatologist for firm diagnosis.

Oral steroids in tappering doses may be taken along with antihistaminics. Apply mild stetoid cream combined with antibiotics. Avoid soap bath. Dettol liq may be used for bath.

I hope you got my answer.

Thanks.
