What Could Continuous Rise In Blood Pressure Despite Taking Avapro?

today,my blood pressure is 212 over 120,its been rising ,
in the last 3 weeks, first 160 over 94, then 196 over 104 .
I have been on avapro 300mg, for many years,
I am 73 yrs old
My father ,had high bloos pressure , and died, at 48yrs old, but no medication in those days.

Short answer you may need two or three anti hypertensive medications
Detailed answer blood pressure or hypertension has to be controlled by
1 good night sleep
2 medications
3 yoga or some mind relaxing exercises
4 fat free and salt free diet
Every thing mentioned above has to be performed for better results
This persistent hypertension when not treated will lead to stroke or brain hemorrhage. Which are much more difficult to treat
Consult your physician and get anti hypertensive medications.
check your renal function urea and creatinine.
