What Could Dark Vaginal Discharge With Abdominal Pressure Suggest?
Had a regular period Sep.5 on Sep.29th-30th I had dark red/dark brown thick discharge. Was expecting my period Oct.3 but I didn t get it. I ve have bad headaches, lower abdomen pressure and tightness some pain but not to bad and I ve also been having acid reflex. I ve takem 3/4 pregnacy tests since I missed my period (it s 8 days late) and they ve all been negative. I haven t taken them first thing in the morning so idk I d that s really effecting the result of the test. I m confused & frustrated. What should I do? What could be going on?
I can understand your concern. Though home pregnancy tests are sensitive enough to detect pregnancy, you can take a blood test for pregnancy which is very concrete for detecting pregnancy. If it comes negative, then you are not pregnant.
You can wait for 2 more days for menstruation. If you are delayed for more than 10 days, it is advisable to consult a gynecologist for physical examination and further investigations to rule out other causes of delayed menstruation like polycystic ovaries, premature ovarian follicle failure, infection if uterus/ovaries, thyroid dysfunction etc.
I hope this information helps. Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. Take care.
