What Could Delayed Periods But Negative HPT Indicate, Have Molar Pregnancy History?

i have missed two periods, i have recently been getting headaches, itchy nipples, tiredness - but i have done 3 pregnancy tests all were negative and i did the last one last week. I am currently being monitored as i had a molar pregnancy a few months ago so could there be another problem?

Hallow Dear,

It is a good news that during post molar pregnancy monitoring your pregnancy tests are negative. This confirms that no untoward development like Choriocarcinoma is developing.

Now it is the question of missed period. It is tricky situation indeed. If you are on any contraceptive pills, then they may delay the menses if they are progesterone dominant.

However, I would advise you to get Beta hCG tests done on your blood for confirmation. If the results are under 5 mIU/ml; i.e. the values of a non-pregnant woman, you need not worry.

Please report to your Gynaecologist for any hormonal preparation for inducing your menses.
