What Could Delayed Periods With Brownish, Mucousy, Floating Chunk Discharge Suggest?
I have always been VERY regular on my periods. Perfect 28 day cycle. Have been on birth control in the past but haven t been for 5 months.. December 2013 period was 1 week late.. January period was 1 week early.. February period was 3 days late.. Thought I was pregnant this time.. Tested negative.. I am at my march period which was due on Monday the 17th, it is now march 19th.. I have been having a light brown discharge since Monday. I was laying in the bath today the 19th and felt water in my vaginal area so naturally I pushed it out but when I did I saw brownish chunks come out.. They started floating around and I got very scared.. They are mucous like... I still have not started bleeding... I m very concerned. What could this be??
It is perfectly normal to get your periods up to 7 days delayed. The spotting and brown discharge is most likely to be premenstrual. You will get your period soon. Nothing to be worried about.
