What Could Ear Pain With Tingling Upper Jaw Suggest?

For about a month I have had throbbing/whooshing in my ears and to some extent my eyes, periodically. Today it was the worst I have felt. M vision was throbbing worse and my ears as well. People were talking to me and I could understand their words, but couldn t comprehend what they were saying. My eyes feel very heavy now, my upper jaw tingles, and I am nauseous.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Read and understood your history and concerns.
It is about a month that your are having a problem of throbbing/whooshing in ears, and to some extent in the eyes also with enhancement today in the symptoms to the extent of inability of comprehending the words of others. Eyes are feeling very heavy, upper jaw tingling and nausea.

The most probably caused by:
- Severe URTI causing the symptoms due to involvement of the sinuses hence giving eye symptoms also.

I would advise:
- CT scan / MRI of the brain, eyes and sinuses.
- An opinion of an ENT Surgeon for clinical evaluation, endoscopy and investigations
-To see for the possibility of Trigeminal neuralgia.

The treatment will obviously will be obviously be as per the diagnosis hence made.
In the meantime instill decongestant nasal drops and take steam inhalations 4 times in a day.
Avoid the places with noise pollution as this will enhance your problems.
