What Could Episodic Loss Of Mobility And Bladder Incontinence In A Child Indicate?

Hi Dr... My son is aged 7 yrs. He has been having this problem where he loses control of his body and goes limp for about 30 to 40 seconds. During this time, he is perfectly conscious and aware of what is happening. He talks and there is absolutely no discomfort or pain. He realizes when the episode is going to start and warns us by saying that he cannot stand. Within few seconds he goes limp. Thereafter he tells us himself when he feels better by trying to raise his hand and move the leg. And soon enuf ,goes back to doing whtever it was tht he was doing before the episode. Occasionally he loses control of his bladder but then too he tells us that he is going to pass urine and cannot control. We ahve noticed increased attacks when he goes swimming. As soon as he enters the water, he almost always has an episode. Otherwise the frequency is about once in three weeks on an average tho not equally spaced. Please help as we really are at a loss to understand what we could do to help my baby.
