Hi,I am Dr. Subhankar Chakraborty (Gastroenterologist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
I have been dealing with excessive belching for the past 6-8 months. As of Sunday had some unexplained pain in right lower quadrant. Then it went to the upper right chest. Then the left abdominal quad. Today I have had blaoting and pain @5 just above the umbilicus. I have experienced right shoulder blade pain yesterday. Feeling full not much appetite. belching and passing alot of gas. no bowel movement for several days.
Until examination is done, it is difficult to say what it is. Avoid spicy food, alcohol, smoking and caffeine drinks. Please consult your physician so that he will do abdomen and pelvis scan and treat you accordingly.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards, Dr. Penchila Prasad Kandikattu

What Could Excess Belching With Bloating Suggest?
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice. The possible causes of bloating and stomach pain may be due to infection or food Intolerance or malabsorption syndromes etcetera. The right hypochondrium pain or right iliac pain may be due to cholecystitis or cholelithiasis or colitis etcetera.
