What Could Fatigue, Vomiting And Diarrhea Indicate, Also Under Treatment For Bipolar?

I have been sick often this past year and I am not sure what the problem is. I am normally healthy. I am often tired and feel sick to my stomach often. My ability to go to the bathroom is not daily but last week and then again this week, I had diarrhea and throwing up. My sinuses bother me often and my face itches often, I have had eccsema in the past. I am treated for bipolar/adhd and take my meds regular but they don t seem to work anymore, I usually have to change every 3 years. my cholestoral went up this past year. I lost my marriage in 2011 after 16 years. my son and his wife separated the next year and in july this past year, she started using meth. the community is not helpful in helping my grandchildren. I also take care of my mother who is 90. So there are many things going on but it is nothing I can stop and I just feel bad all the time. I work full time 50 miles from where I live. I don t know what to do. I am at a loss. I don t sleep well so I am not getting the rest. I am in counseling.

Hi.
Thanks for your query.
Noted the history of feeling tired, sick, off and on visit to the bathroom, not daily, sometimes diarrhea and vomiting, sinuses bother, itching of face, eczema, under treatment for bipolar/ADHD, but the medicines do not work, lost marriage in 2011 after 16 years as wife started using Meth, take care of Mother who is 90, work full time 50 miles away from home and in counselling.
Read your detailed history and is a complex phenomenon of may a factors combined together causing picture like IBS that is irritable bowel syndrome.
I would advise you the following:
First of all change your Psychiatrist, you really need someone who can adjust the dosages well to quieten your mind well as this is the basis of the treatment.
Get stool, blood and urine tests.
CT scan of the abdomen and colonoscopy is a must to check for any organic lesion or just to rule everything out so that IBS is confirmed.
Change: Change of everything possible is a must as the old memories never die. You can change everything and anything other than the Mother and get solace to get the proper management of the present problem.
I find this answer helpful
