What Could Feeling Of Missed Heartbeat While Riding In Steep Area Mean?

Dear Doctor,I am a 26 years old man. I am using my bike when I am commuting to my work. That is roughly 10 km a day and some portions of the way are really steep. I am not in excellent shape, but I think it is fine. Sometimes when I push the pedals really hard for an extended period of time (for the whole 5 km), after I stop I have funny feelings in my heart for a heartbeat or two, then it stops and then it might come back after a few seconds for another heartbeat or two. What could be the reason? Thank you for your help!

Hi,
I can assure you, that this rhythm problem is harmless, and is due to the fear or some sort of stress. Just relax, avoid stimulants like coffee.
If you start feel chest dyscomfort or dizziness with such abnormal heart beat, report to your primary care physician for evaluation.

Regards
