What Could Fluid Collection In Lungs After Heart Attack Indicate?

male 59 years old 2 weeks ago had a heart attack the first 48 hrs was unresponsive then he woke up no injury to his brain only when he got sick not enough was deprived if oxygen in the brain he is doing better now but keeps haveing fluid in the lungs 2 days ago they took 3.5 liters of fluid from his left lung? why does this keep happening? his dr says they can't figure out why his heart muscle hardens never smoked was around alot of second hand smoke he is not obese?

Heart attack ocurres because of atherosclerotic disaese which affects heart vessels. Smoking and obesity are risk factors for atherosclerosis and heart attack but there are other risk factors as well, so if a person don't smoke and isn't obese it means he/she has less risk but not zero.
If the patient has fluid in lungs after heart attack, usually it indicates heart failure after a heart attack. It is the most difficult period for him he will be doing better gradually.
