What Could Greenish Raised Bumps On Buttocks Suggest?

Hello, I am 22 years old and ever since I was born I have had a blueish greenish bump on my right buttocks. I have asked a couple of doctors and they have no clue what it is. The bump has been turning a little more dark greener, before it was very blue with a hint if green. The bump is the size about a dime or penny. Everytime I research I get mongolian blue spots but those are usually flat while mine is raised, also they usually tend to fade away. My mother said they ran tests when I was a baby and that it is nothing to worry about, but the color change worries me a bit.

Hi,

It may be blue nevus. It is elevated bluish colored bump occur in childhood and remain permenantly. It is a benign condition.

As it is harmless,it may be kept untreated.

If you feel embarrassing, it may be removed by surgical excision, electro cautery or laser therapy.

Thanks.
