The hurting throat and ears are other arguments in favor of this diagnosis. Have you measured your blood pressure during fainting? Low blood pressure can be caused by a viral infection and cause fainting, dizziness and headache. The cold sweats can be caused by fever or an autonomic reaction to the pain or low blood pressure. I recommend you to consult with your GP for a careful physical examination and perform a routine blood test for infection, kidney and liver function test and blood electrolytes, to exclude other causes. You should also regularly monitor your blood pressure in sitting and standing position. I recommend you to take plenty of water and juices.
