What Could It Be If Experiencing Head Rushes, Neck Pressure When Laying Down During 32 Weeks Of Pregnancy?

Have been having frequent head rushes and neck pressure - like I am hanging upside down. Not to be confused with dizziness or lightheadedness. It happens more when I lay down. I have to sit back up to stop the pressure. It also happens randomly when I am just sitting around. My blood pressure is fine. I am 32 weeks pregnant. My OB is perplexed by this. She is referring me to cardiology. What could this be?

Hello & Welcome to HCM,
I had gone through the case and find that it might be increase in carotid artery pressure or thickness of arterial wall, so you need to do some investigation like carotid artery doppler. After this you can find the correct diagnosis.Hope my answer will be effective for you.
Thanks & Regards:
