Hello,
According to your description the possibilities are: -Rarely urine pregnancy test kits can give false negative results.
So better to go for
blood test in pregnancy to rule out the possibility first. If
serum beta HCG levels are less than 5 mIU/mL in blood test it excludes the possibility of pregnancy.
The other possibilities are,
premenstrual syndrome in which due to the reproductive hormonal fluctuations during the premenstrual period, spotting, nausea, breast tenderness,
abdominal pain, bloating sensation, etc.
Symptoms can be seen. Sometimes pelvic
pelvic inflammatory disease can also present with these type of symptoms.
So, if the brownish discharge doesn't convert into menstrual flow or if the other symptoms persist better to consult your gynecologist once and get evaluated.
By clinical examination and ultrasound the possible cause of your problem can be identified and treatment can be planned accordingly.
Hope I have answered your queries. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Take care
