What Could It Be If Having Dark Spot On The Inner Right Cheek?
I have a dark flat spot on my inner right cheek that has just appeared, it is on top of a white patch that the oral doctor said was hyperketosis back in june last year, this was due to my teeth coming down on that area, I think I must bite down when I am sleeping. I have no pain and no soreness. I noticed this black spot 2 days ago. Not sure how long it has been there as I had made myself stop looking in my mouth, but I think I looked a couple of months ago and the black spot wasn't there then. Please advise.

hello thanks for consulting at hcm..it could be frictional keratosis-hyperkeratosis..black spot could be due to melanosis..get a coronoplasty--trimming ur sharp cusp f teeth coming in contact with mucosa-inside of the cheek..blow air out with mouth closed, then teeth surface doesnt come in contact with inner cheek area--buccal mucosa..hope it helps,,tc
