What Could It Be If Having Hard And Extended Stomach With Loss Of Apetite?

My husband has a very hard extended stomach. I noticed it several months ago. He says he has no pain but it is hard as a rock. As of now he will no go to see our doctor. He has lost his appetite and does not eat much. Can you give me some ideas on what it could be?

I really appreciate your concern, it could be protuberance belly because of central obesity I would suggest to get done the lipid profile first, such patient needs life style change from grass rooted level and for that it requires lot of work up, consultation, exercise, calorie cut down it diet, rule out the systemic disease like diabetes, hypertension, stress factors thing can be corrected but really needs great afford hope this information helps.
