What Could It Be If Having Tightness In Head, Severe Headaches Affecting Vision Lasting For A Few Seconds Recurring Quite Often?

Hi there I m a 21 year old female never had symptoms like this before. I keep going light headed and have very Sharpe sickening pains in my head it feels like someone has my head in a clamp and there making it tighter and tighter it also effects my vision and I can see properly sometimes at all for about 30-40 seconds after the pain. All together they last for about a minute to a minute and half and then I m fine again. To start with it was only happening every few days or so but now it s ever few hours or so and there starting to last for longer. What could this be?

This could be a cluster headache. Their cause is neuro vascular. Valproates , hyperbaric oxygen, calcium channel blockers are good drugs for such headaches. You may consult a neurologist or a psychiatrist who can help you with these medicines.
