What Could Lack Of Sensations On Leg During Asthma Suggest?
I am asmatha pateints for a very long time but seasonally more in winter time get morning cough, lasting for 5-10 minutes. And prolonged couging has created slip disc affecting my leg, i have taken x ray advised by doctors, but feeling senseless ness on my right leg foot portion
Dear I am very sorry for that..you have asthma and because of severe bout of cough you developed slipped disc.now you are having loss of sensation over right leg..loss of sensation is suggestive of compression of nerve roots responsible for carrying sensation from that area. This can happen in slipped disc. It may cause compression over nerve.you need an immediate MRI of affected spinal cord most probably of lumbar region that can only tell about exact cause of compression .and if their is any compression this should be managed as soon as possible otherwise the affected nerve may get permanently damage . X ray will not so any compression . It can only help you in assessing whether any bony abnormalities are present or not. MRI is investigation of choice that is indicated at this time that too without any delay . Hope this will help.
