What Could Lead To Unsuccessful IUI Procedures While Having Vaginismus?
I am 28 years old having primary vaginismus and trying to concieve because its already been 5 years to my marriage.my TSH is 3.55 sugar is 95 and tubes are open in HSG test.husband semen parameters are good too.I undergone two times Iui but ended up with negative result .please revert what can I go for as I prepared for Iui even after having vaginismus. What can be the main cause of failure if follicles are good in sizes i.e 22mm ,20mm
With the information that you have provided i think the TSH level is a little on the borderline. May be you can consult your physician to help you start on low dose of Eltroxin / Thyroxin to keep your TSH in the range of 2 to 3. I hope your ultrasonography is normal (no uterine abnormalities / polyp. Fibroid that hinders pregnancy). You can take prenatal capsules daily. It can help reduce the risk of early pregnancy loss.
If you have PCOD taking metformin can also be helpful. Some causes for infertility can be unknown / immunological (if all your tests are normal). If you could send me the reports of you fertility evaluation I could help you better. If you are ovulating every month (you can confirm with a home ovulation detection kit) try to make contact on those fertile days. IUI is a good option. You can do up to 6 cycles of IUI.
Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
