What Could Left Nostril Related Breathing Problem Be In A 12 Years Old Child?

Hi, my 12 year old son has a problem with breathing through the left nostril. The doctor in Europe 2 weeks ago said he would need a minor surgery. He has no OHIP in Canada. What is the fastest way to get surgery and how much it will cost? I can not find a ENT specialist who would see him soon. Andy 647-668-2643

Hello
It seems from the history that your 12 year old son is having left nostril related breathing problem.
The common problems are allergic rhinitis, deviated nasal septum, nasal polyp.
Since your doctor has told that he may require minor surgery it can be deviated nasal septum or nasal polyp.
This requires examination by a ENT doctor and treatment accordingly.

Thank you
