Hello and welcome to health care magic,

If the underwear became wet and the fluid was watery, it may be amniotic fluid. This is not uncommon and needs evaluation. It is not possible to tell what it may have been just from description. So it is best that you visit your doctor or ER whichever is possible earlier and get yourself checked. Some tests as well as strips and pads are available to detect if the fluid is amniotic or mucus. If it is amniotic fluid then you may need prophylactic antibiotics and may also develop labor pains after some time.

Hope I was able to help.
Have a safe pregnancy and delivery.
