What Could Long Piece Of Flesh At The Place Of Tonsils Indicate?

hey i had my tonsil's removed when i was 2, i have had no problems with them since.i have a sore throat, my right ear aches. so i went to the mirror to check to see if it was red or inflammed...its slightly red but i noticed i have a long peice of "flesh" hanging where tonsils would normaly be, its like an inch long and it hurts...what should i do??

Seems your tonsil removal was partial, hence the remaining tonsillar tissue gradually increased in size over time and there is recurrence of symptoms. Take Cepodem 200 twice daily and Betadine gargle thrice daily for 7 days. Then a revision tonsillectomy may have to be planned depending on the status.
